“I had an unhealthy relationship with alcohol and was suffering the effects of engaging in repetitive negative habit patterns. I knew I needed help breaking the patterns. When Halie responded to my request to work 1:1, she immediately stepped into where I was at in my cyclic existence and met me with a grace and understanding that is so unique to who she is. She helped me understand my patterns from a trauma-informed perspective and used somatic tools to provide an education that helped me face my emotions from a centered place so I could recover, heal, and grow from those experiences into new healthy experiences.
The transformation that I experience is on-going. It radiates out into every aspect of my life and invites in the power of saying no to cultural norms, and most importantly the power to finally say yes to meeting my own needs so I can finally feel an embodied sense of safety. I now have self advocacy and can prioritize the time I require for myself everyday to recover and heal."
